The Name
SANTA PACOU
The name of our restaurant is an inspiration originating from a church dedicated to Holly Mary called “Aghia Hypakoe” (Saint of obedience) or Santa Pacou as locals have been calling it for generations.
Local tradition
WITH A MODERN TWIST AND CREATIVE CURIOSITY.
In the purely Cycladic setting with white tables and handmade decorative details adding their own touch of elegance, at Santa Pacou we enjoy real food, cooked with love and passion for taste. Here nothing comes ready, since the best ingredients of the Parian land and sea meet in the kitchen to become small culinary wonders for all the senses. King of experience, the traditional wood oven, which dominates the beautiful balcony and bakes incessantly kneaded bread, pies, local meats and much more.
In Santa Pacou we come with our own people for the amazing Meatballs with crispy potatoes and feta cream, for the magical Revithada of Paros with grilled octopus, for the homemade Spinach pie with rustic phyllo, but also for the special Kontosouvli chicken, the exuberant Shoulder Steak from black Greek pig, and of course for the signature Goat in the wood oven.
In the dishes of the day we do not miss the Moussaka in clay and the delicious Shrimp Spaghetti, while we always keep a little appetite for the traditional Loukoumades with honey and cinnamon, for the sinful Chocolate Pie with vanilla ice cream, but also for the "interactive" Bougatsa that breaks with the most delicious "krats" before our eyes. Of course, the carefully selected wine list features the Greek vineyard as well as a small collection of Greek spirits and sophisticated beers.
Santa Pacou is the secret that you will not want to share except with your loved ones,so that you can enjoy forever the tranquility of the Cycladic countryside in the most elegant corner of the island of Paros.
